Salman turns a writer with Veer

Salman Khan, who has shown a natural flair for painting, has now sprung yet another surprise. The actor has penned a script which will now be turned into a film titled Veer. Salman reportedly took over a year to pen this script. His close friends reveal that he took help from his father, the legendary scriptwriter Salim Khan many a times when he faced the writer’s block.

The film is being produced by Vijay Galani, who earlier produced Suryavanshi with Salman. The film will be directed by Anil Sharma (of Gadar fame).

Salman himself will play the lead role. The actor’s good friends Sajid-Wajid might compose the film’s songs. When contacted, director Anil Sharma reveals, "Salman has written a beautiful script. It is a period film based in the 1800-1900s. It will be an action-packed big budget flick. Eros Entertainment will present the film and we are planning to go on floors in the month of July. We are looking at a budget of over Rs 75 crores."
