Glam doll Nayanthara

After her big show in Billa-2007, Nayanthara demands a whopping Rs. 75 lakh per film. Now the buzz is a producer has agreed to pay her that amount for his next movie with Vijay. Nayanthara also has a big market in Telugu where she is considered a luc ky artist. So every producer wants her to appear in their film in at least an item number. At present, she is acting in only one film with Dhanush, Yaradi Nee Mohini, the remake of Telugu superhit Aadavari Matalaki Arthalu Verule made by Selvaraghavan. Meena is back

It is learnt from reliable sources that Meena has agreed to act in Adhivasiyum Adhisayapesiyum. She, however, doesn’t act as a pair to Senthil, who plays the hero. In fact, the two do not even meet throughout the film. As for the storyline, five persons get caught in a jungle. How they escape with the help of a cell phone that is with Senthil, an inhabitant of the jungle, forms the climax. The producers initially planned to shoot the film in the jungles of Malaysia. Then they decided to go to the jungles of South Africa. One wonders why they didn’t go to the jungles where sandalwood smuggler Veerappan lived. Rajni joins hands with Lawrence?

The year 2008 will be another great year for superstar Rajnikant’s fans. The king of box-office is said to have made up his mind on his new project. The film is likely to be directed by the versatile Ragava Lawrence, who has just finished his T elugu flick Don, starring Nagarjuna. It is believed that the film will be produced by Rajni’s mentor, K. Balachandar. It is rumoured that the superstar has given his nod to the dance master-turned-director Lawrence, who has grown in stature after his all round show in Don where he has handled the story, dialogue, screenplay, choreography and music besides playing an important role in it. To add credibility to the news, sources say Rajnikant saw Don at a special show arranged for him in the Four Frames preview theatre in the city recently. This is seen as a positive signal from the superstar.
