Firstly, let me just say that stealing CD's keys is very lame and you really should be buying your own games. (help support companies that you enjoy, remember, piracy kills video game programmers, and I know how much you love your video games)
This article is completely for the purpose of information, freedom of speech and poking fun at the security of windows and people who think it is good enough to host multiplayer network games.
And because I can.
Although this File is public domain, please e-mail me before you go sticking it on your site, so I can keep a list of who has it so that if I update this or make any new files on such, I can inform you and give you the latest info.
Now I got that out of the way, I shall continue.
Many games these days require CD keys to activate, and legitimate ones at that if you want to play online without having to worry about someone else using the same key as you and getting annoying "Sorry, your CD key is in use" messages. Most popular of all is half life, to be more precise, Counter-strike.
I shall now refer to the game that requires the cd key as "Half life".
How CD key's work online:
For half-life, when you try to connect to a server, before you actually connect to that server, some information is passed on to a main server before you are allowed to actually properly connect to whatever server you want to play on.
This "Main server" basicly serves only one purpose: To check your WONID. (the ID your CD key gives you for online play). This WONID isn't actually your CD key, it's more or less an "Encrypted" Version of it, whilst also giving you an online "Identity". If you've been naughty on a server, like using some lame headshot hack or something, and are banned, your "WONID" is noted and thats the thing that gets banned.
The reason your WONID isn't your CD key number is that if everyone could see your CD key, there would be a lot more stealing of keys then there are now as it is.
If you still don't understand the difference between WONID and CD key, then I'll word it this way: Your CD key and WONID are directly linked, but are just different variations of each other. You use your CD key to activate your game. Your WONID is your "unique name" on the net, givin to you by your CD key. Everyone can see your WONID, no one can see your CD key unless they hack your computer or such.
Now, as I was originally saying, the main server checks your WONID, and then stores it there untill you decide to log off from whatever server it is you are on.
If anyone else try's to log onto a server, regardless if its the one you are on, and they are using the same CD key, they will have to pass through the main server, and the server will notice it has a WONID that's already logged on, and will not allow the second to come on untill the person with the same WONID logs off from his session.
So, over view in Diagram format:
Person1 with WONID 123 trys to connect to server "game". Before he completes connection, information is sent to "main". the WONID is noted, and let's 123 finish it's connection attempt.
123 --->Connect "Game"--->"Main" Notes "123" and stores it in it's memory---> 123 connects and frags happily, or dies whiles shouting "HAXOR!" or "CAMPER!".
Now, person2 is friends with person1, and person1 gave his CD key to person2 so he too can enjoy Counter strike or some other half life mod. Person2 decides he wants to join Person 1's game, and finds out that for some reason, it didn't work.
123 --->Connect "Game"--->"Main" looks at person2's WONID... and see's that the WONID is already playing.---> Sends the unfriendly message to Person2 "Sorry, your CD key is already in use, please try again later".
Person2 thinks "Maybe because we have the same CD key and tried going onto the same server it recognised me. What if I try a different server?" Well, same as the first, irrespective of the server.
123--->Connect "Game2"--->"Main" Notes "123" ...Already stored in it's memory --->Sends SYCDKIAIU.
Now that my quite lengthy and repetitive explanation is over, I now offer you a solution to such a problem: Getting keys that are legal, but no one uses anyway.
The most obvious of this, is to steal the keys from net cafes. Now, according to sales laws and such, LEGALLY, for every computer on a net cafe that has half life on it (or any other lan game) it should have it's own individual copy. Thats right, legally, 1 computer = 1 original copy of half life. Which means each should have their own unique CD key.
Now, some dodgey net cafes seem to think they are special, and decide to go and pirate half life, and the'll have some dodgey random key generator which is fine for network play, as there is no "official" server to check against the CD key to see if it has a WONID.
But if you try to use it online, you'll find out very fast that that it won't work as it's not really a valid CD key, its only enough to trick the game, but not the master server, as it knows all and sees all.
If you ever come across that runs a dodgey operation, do the gaming community a favour and dob them in to the local authority. Valve will love you for it. And you might even get your picture in the local paper or something Razz.
That or you can blackmail the net cafe owner into giving you "shut-up" Money.
Either way, heres how to find out if the cafe is running legit or not.
CD keys are not stored where you can find them easily, most games will "secure" the CD-key in the registry.
To access it, normally, you could just go "Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_User > Software > Valve > Half-life > Settings"
From there, look for a registry called "Key". The numbers after that is your CD Key.
Now, that's all well and dandy if you have full permission's at a net cafe or on your own computer, but what if they are running some sort of "cafe program" that restricts your access to just the games and select programs? Well, any decent net cafe will be offering the net, either as a seperate service or as part of the normal deal.
To access the registry, simple open up internet explorer, and then from the URL bar, just type C: .
Viola, you're in the computer. (pretty lame hacking huh?)
From there accessing the registry is as simple as "windows > system32 > then look for the registry program. Under different versions of windows, it will be named differently, be it will usually start with "reg". so just look out for the "regwhatever.exe" file and your in.
Now, take note of the key, write it down, email it to yourself or whatever, and then proceed to grab the rest of the keys from other computers. (Don't worry, no one will get too suspicious if you change comps every once in a while, windoze boxes are ghey and you can just blame it on "a bad box" or something if anyone does question you, though it's unlikely.)
Go home, edit your registry and change the CD key for half life to the stolen key, and try to log into a server.
You'll either have a legitamite key that no one else has, and hey, the net cafe won't be missing it, who the hell plays multiplayer games at a net-cafe online anyway? Or you'll get a message saying "your CD key is not a legitamite key. Please re-enter it" or something similer.
If it's the latter, feel free to dob that lousy net cafe in or blackmail them or something, if it's the former, you have a bunch of CD keys that no one else has and no one will be missing.
I hope this has somewhat enlightened you as to the behaviour and workings of CD-keys and dodgey net cafes.

Czechs drink TWICE as much Beer as Water
Czechs are not just the biggest beer drinkers in the world, but they actually drink it almost twice as much as bottled water. According to a study by KHC, Czechs drink 156,9 liters per person per year, while each person drinks only 87,1 liters of bottled water per year, according to the EPI.
Austria is also drinking more beer than water, while Americans drink just a little more water than beer. A full comparison based on the mentioned 2004 data shows the following:
SRK gets back to earlier hairstyle
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to chop his little pony tail which he has been sporting nowadays. He is planning to get back to his old hair style. The actor has already shot for a new cola ad featuring John Abraham in his new look. Last week, he was also seen shooting for his home production Om Shanti Om’s item number with long hair.
But the actor is getting back to his original style for professional reasons. The Om Shanti Om actor had earlier shot for Viveck Vaswani’s Dulha Mil Gaya, and to maintain a constant appearance, Shah Rukh will have to go back to his usual look. When contacted, his producer-friend Viveck says, “Shah Rukh had promised to get back to his original look whenever I would announce the schedule of the film. We have to shoot the portions involving him on a cruise liner. I am waiting for the rains to subside because it is risky to shoot in the rains.”
The film has been in the making for some time and it is reported that it has been delayed due to date problems with SRK. Viveck quickly defends Shah Rukh by saying, “There has been no delay from him. He has been very cooperative throughout. We have just 10 days of shooting left.” He adds, “There have been other problems which delayed the film.” The film stars Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan and newcomer Ishita Sharma in the lead roles. Shah Rukh plays an important but brief role.

Massive diamond found in S. Africa
A leading diamond expert on Monday predicted a glittering future for a stone found recently at a mine in South Africa if is confirmed as the world’s largest diamond. Les Milner, a gemologist at the Jewellery Council of South Africa, described the stone, which was photographed on a table beside a mobile phone that it appeared to dwarf, as ‘massive.’ “If it is a diamond it could easily be between 6,500 and 7,000 carats,” he said. The previous world-record-holder, the Cullinan Diamond, which was discovered near Pretoria in January 1905, weighed about 3,106 carats uncut.
Milner described the stone’s shape as octahedral (having eight plane surfaces) and its colour as having a ‘faint green tinge. If the green colour remained after the stone was cut and polished, it would be even more rare, he said, venturing, “It could be the eighth wonder of the world.” If it wasn’t a diamond, it could be a crystal or a fake, he said. News of the discovery of the gem, which Dieter Hahn, treasurer- general of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses estimated as weighing between 1.2 and 1.4 kilogrammes, has stunned the diamond industry. “It caught everybody in the diamond industry offside,” the founder of Diamond Cutters International, Fred Cuellar, told Britain’s Guardian newspaper, predicting a flurry of ‘mad bidding’ among would-be buyers.

School was a big nightmare
Back to school — three words guaranteed to strike terror into the hearts of children everywhere, not to mention those big kids in Hollywood. The end of the summer holidays and the impending first day back at school isn’t just a scary time for children, it seems. We’ve found a whole class of stars who still shudder at the thought of school even though they’ve long left their desks behind for a career as a superstar. So, come the beginning of the new term, don’t be surprised if among the kids waiting for the bus in their new uniforms, there are one or two stars joining in the chorus of “WE HATE SCHOOL!”
Tom Cruise
Tom’s dyslexia made his school days a misery due to his cruel classmates. “I was extremely lonely,” he says. “I didn’t have many friends. I was dyslexic and a lot of kids made fun of me. That experience made me tough inside because you learn to quietly accept abuse and ridicule.”
Jennifer Lopez
J-Lo fell well short of being top of the class when it came to being popular at school. The Latin stunner was a high school bully and once got in a knife fight with her own sister! Stephanie Herlory, Jennifer’s best friend from New York’s Preston High School, says: “She was very straightforward, and if you were getting on her bad side, she’d let you know it. She was tough.Nobody wanted to be her enemy.” And pals say some of her biggest brawls were with her older sister Leslie, whom she once chased with a knife. “She was always getting into huge fights with Leslie,” adds Stephanie. “It would start out with just screaming, then when their tempers really flared, it would turn into a wild catfight. Jennifer and I both spent some time in after-school detention.” And the recently married (again) diva admits she didn’t enjoy her schooling. “I wasn’t the most popular girl in class,” she says. “I had my friends, but I was comfortable with myself. There’s always those most popular girls and I wasn’t one of those.”

Pot-belly can increase chances of heart attack
Having a pot-belly can put you at risk of getting a heart attack. Large waist measurements relative to hip size, were linked to early signs of heart disease, researchers from the University of Texas found after studying 2,744 people.
The study looked at people who had undergone medical tests and imaging scans to identify the early signs of atherosclerosis — the narrowing and hardening of the arteries linked to the development of cardiovascular disease, reported BBC News.
Researches found that adding a few inches to the waist increased the risk of damage in the arteries even if body weight remained within the normal range.
The study suggests that a waist size of 32 inches (81 cm) for a woman and 37 inches (94 cm) for a man represents a "significant" raised risk.

Aloe, a member of the lily family, is called kumaari (the virgin) in Sanskrit as it offers possibilities for rejuvenation and renewal. It is aptly called so, as the herb imparts youthful energy and enhances feminity. There are about 300 species, but Aloe indica Royle is the most popular. It is also known as Aloe vera (common or true aloe).
Growing aloe at home:
Growing an aloe plant at home is the easiest way to get fresh concentrated gel. It is easy to grow, requiring only good drainage, mild temperatures, and occasional watering. It tolerates either full or partial sunlight, but requires more frequent watering in full sun.
When harvesting your Aloe vera plant, always take an outside leaf first, as this will have the greatest curative properties. Break off the top of the leaf, cut it lengthwise and scoop the pulp out.
For dull skin: Apply aloe pulp on your face. It clears blemishes and gives you fresh, baby soft skin. Drinking 10 ml aloe juice daily also helps cleanse your skin.
For wrinkles: Aloe prevents wrinkles and defies signs of ageing. Aloe vera pulp penetrates quickly and deeply, and it is retained by the skin better than water. Its enzymes remove dead cells, provide moisture and nutrition, and restore the skin’s elasticity.
For acne: Aloe clears acne by opening the skin pores and removing the excess oil. The scars left by acne should be treated with aloe pulp.
For sunburn: Aloe provides effective protection against both UV-A which causes premature ageing, and UV-B which causes sunburn and skin darkening. Application of aloe juice along with turmeric removes sunburn and reduces oiliness.
For dull hair: Mix fresh aloe pulp with curd (for very oily hair, add fuller’s earth too) and apply it to your hair half an hour before bath. It will make your hair bouncy and lustrous.
For wounds and bruises: Aloe gel hardens into a natural bandage due to its antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties and is widely used for the external treatment of minor wounds and inflammatory skin disorders, cuts, bruises and abrasions.
Precautions: Aloe gel is generally safe for topical use, but it is best to apply it to a small area first to test for possible allergic reaction.

Salabhasana benefits your spinal region
Poorna salabhasana
Salabhasana (locust posture) is the reverse posture of Bhujangasana (cobra posture), which gives a backward bend to the spine. Practice Salabhassana after Bhujangasana. Bhujangasana activates the upper area of the body while Salabhasana activates the lower waist area. This asana is beneficial for the spine and creates balance.
Method
Lie down flat, face to the floor. Place your arms on your sides and stretch your hands backward, palms facing up. Rest your chin on the floor and look ahead. Raise your legs and your hands backwards. Lift your upper body and lower body. Balance on the stomach. Raise your head and look up.
Inhale slowly but deeply through both the nostrils. Tighten the legs and arms and lift them up as high as possible. Do not bend the knees.
Stay in the same posture for half a minute. Exhale and simultaneously lower the legs slowly to the floor. By the time the legs touch the floor, you should finish exhaling.
Benefits
Compresses the spine, strengthens lower, mid and the upper spine, creates more elasticity in the entire spine, tones the muscle fibres of the back, accelerates and improves the circulation of spinovial fluid, holds vertebrae in position, improves the posture and gives relief from cervical spondylosis (a disorder that results from abnormal growth of bones in the neck and degeneration in the cushions between the vertebrae of the neck).
Restrictions
Start with three rounds on the first day. Do not practice more than four rounds. For beginners, it is always advisable to practice the half locust posture before attempting the strenuous full locust posture.

2 per cent ZPT is boon for dandruff and scalp irritation
The dry, itchy, white flaking of the scalp, known as dandruff, can strike anyone, anytime. Studies claim that 50 per cent of us are affected by dandruff in various degrees of severity accompanied by scalp irritation. This irritation causes itching, which accelerates the cell renewal process and perpetuates the problem. Dandruff is one of those conditions that are infinitely more threatening to self-confidence than to health.
We need not establish yet again the severity of the issue, as dandruff is a persistently upsetting condition for all those who suffer from it. Many may have tried several remedies available in the market, but are yet not satisfied as dandruff continues to trouble them.
An earlier study predicted that one out of two Indians suffer from dandruff, harming not only their scalp and beautiful hair, but also their self esteem and confidence. The urgency of the situation, however, sets in with the monsoon reigning, and thus the need to address the issue.
Findings from an earlier Heads & Shoulders and AC Neilson study on "Dandruff’s Impact on Emotions" tell us that not only does dandruff emotionally affect more women (51 per cent) than men (31 per cent), but women consider dandruff worse than hair-loss. More than half of the women and one-thirds of men feel less attracted to someone of the opposite sex with a dandruff problem and would not like to be kissed or touched by that person.
Many physicians still debate what causes dandruff. Many researchers believe it is Malassezia, the fungal microbe on the scalp that causes the irritation associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.
Interestingly, according to the survey, about 47 per cent men and 70 per cent women sufferers of dandruff do not use a specialised dandruff shampoo.
According to Dr Neena Khanna, consultant dermatologist, AIIMS, "Excessive itching can aggravate bacterial infection on the scalp and hence ZPT (pyrithione zinc particles) based solutions reduce fungal dandruff besides maintaining regular hygiene." In the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, subjects preferred pyrithione zinc conditioning shampoo over the ketoconazole shampoo by 75 per cent in terms of overall performance by measuring hair-combing ease, hair smoothness, and hair frizz fly-away.
Doctors feel that two per cent ZPT is a breakthrough research for all scalp-related problems for the needy who wish to balance health with beauty. As natural remedies and regular shampoos may take time to show any visible results, the Intensive Solution concept is novel, unique and revolutionary.
In fact, scalp deposition studies have also shown that two per cent ZPT solutions, due to twice the amount of active ingredient than normal ZPT shampoos as well as the advanced technology, leave behind significantly more active ingredient and ensure the maximum surface area coverage to aid efficacy.
The problems like stickiness, greasiness and dandruff along with acid rains can further weaken the shaft bonds in this season. It is important to take special care of your hair — heads and shoulders above the rest.

Vivica finds Simpson to be fabulous co-star
Jessica Simpson is no diva, says her latest movie co-star. Vivica A. Fox, who appears alongside the blonde in Major Movie Star, insists rumours that Jessica behaved like a spoilt brat throughout filming are just vicious lies. She told People magazine, “Those vicious lies they put out were just that lies. She was so much of a team player. She was gracious and so down-to-earth.” Vivica insists Jessica, who plays an out-of-work movie star who finds herself financially ruined, worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices.
She added, “She showed a lot of physicality, like 90 per cent of all her own stunts, and she sacrificed so much of her body for this movie.” The 43-year-old actress, who plays a tough sergeant helping Jessica’s character get back into shape also revealed how brave Jessica was when the singer accidentally injured her nose with a prop gun.
She recalled, “During the scene she looked really intense, when I looked in her eyes, and I just thought she was really into it. But when the director Steve Miner yelled, ‘Cut,’ Jessica came over to me and said, ‘Vivica I hit my nose with the gun.’ We got ice immediately. Most girls would’ve stopped right then and there, but she was ready to do another take. She’s wonderful.”

But when the director Steve Miner yelled, ‘Cut,’ Jessica came over to me and said, ‘Vivica I hit my nose with the gun.’ We got ice immediately. Most girls would’ve stopped right then and there, but she was ready to do another take. She’s wonderful.”
Kate rekindles romance with Doherty
Kate Moss has reportedly rekindled her romance with Pete Doherty. The supermodel, who dumped Pete in June after he apparently cheated on her with South African model Lindi Hingston is said to have spent five nights with the troubled rocker at the exclusive London hotel Claridge’s.
Sources claim Kate, who has just returned from a holiday in Spain, has been miserable since the split and has told the Babyshambles star she wants him back. One told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, “Kate has been like a moth to the flame. When she got back to Britain, they met up at the hotel. He cried and she cried. She said she had been avoiding him because she had promised everyone from her managers to her mother that she would. She told him, ‘It’s not me. It’s just what they all made me do.’”
During one late-night heart-to heart, Kate told Pete she was miserable without him and desperately happy with him.”
News of the reconciliation has apparently devastated Kate’s mum Linda as she thought her daughter was finally over Pete, who sold a story about his relationship with the 33-year-old beauty. The source added, “Linda thought that once Pete spoke publicly about their relationship, there was no way back. But Pete has been telling Kate he was tricked and didn’t know what he was doing. Kate is clearly smitten, she can’t get the guy out of her system.” Kate, who has a four-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, from a previous relationship began dating Pete in January 2005 after meeting him on her 31st birthday party.

Britney refuses to sing duet with Justin
Britney Spears refused to duet with ex-lover Justin Timberlake. The troubled Toxic singer mysteriously pulled out of recording the track, which was due to be produced by Timbaland, with her former boyfriend last month. A source told the New York Post newspaper, “Timbaland set aside a week out of his crazy schedule to do this and then, just before she was supposed to fly out, Britney abruptly cancelled the session and refused to do the song. It’s crazy. She’s looking for a comeback, and this would have not only been a huge hit, but something she could have opened the MTV Video Awards with it and really blown everyone away.”
The duet was set to be recorded at Timbaland’s Virginia Beach studio and Justin reportedly wrote the track especially for Britney. Britney’s record label Jive is said to be worried about the star’s erratic behaviour and had hoped the duet would resurrect her faltering pop career. Another source added, “Everyone is worried. In her mind, her album is done and she’s done enough work. She’s an easy target right now, because she’s sick. She needs help. It’s sad what she’s got. We’ve heard it’s like bipolar disorder and can easily be treated with medication, but she won’t do it. People at Jive have been with Britney since album one, and have an investment in her. They have faith that once the material is there, she will become focused and step it up. But at the end of the day no-one can do it for her.”

Body parts that reveal your intelligence
If you want to know how clever someone is, just look them in the eye. At least that's what scientists now suggest...
Joanna Rowe at the University of Louisville reckon she's found what some of the world's most intelligent people, including Stephen Hawking, Marie Curie and Stephen Fry, have in common: blue eyes. And that those folk with dark eyes are better at physical activities.
Researchers believe there are many ways to discover someone's characteristics, from forehead shape to finger length. Here, we examine the many insights that can be gleaned from the body's organs...
Head If you want to know how brainy someone is, check out the size of their head. A team of psychologists from the University of Western Ontario in Canada found that greater width, length and circumference all indicated greater intelligence. But pointy heads - people with taller as opposed to wider heads and the name sometimes used to describe intellectuals - may not be bright at all.
Eyes Large eyes are generally considered more favourable, according to Chinese face-reading beliefs. They are associated with intelligence and astuteness.
Nose A woman with a hooked nose is good-natured and clever, according to the ancient study of physiognomy which suggests physical attributes shape personality. A straight nose of normal length makes a woman beautiful, wise, witty and diligent. A woman with a small nose is said to be cunning, shrewd, mischievous and lustful.
Fingers The length of your index and ring fingers predicts how clever you are, according to research at the University of Bath. Boys with shorter index fingers excel at maths, while girls with index and ring fingers of the same length were also brainier.
Bodyhair Being hirsute is a sign of intelligence in men, according to Dr Aikarakudy Alias of Chester health centre, Illinois. He found 50 per cent of men with high IQs were hairy compared with one in 10 of the male population.
Big Toe Greek and Roman statues in the classical tradition often have short big toes. This feature has been considered a sign of heightened intelligence in many cultures through the ages.
Forehead If this is broad, the person will be generous, intelligent and wise. And when it is short, it denotes he will be poor and likely to die young. A curved forehead means the person may be rich and spiritual.
Earlobe Large and thick earlobes are a sign of intelligence, and are associated with wealth and a long life according to Siang Mien, Chinese face-reading. Those with angular ears are more shrewd and vivacious.
Lips Men with thin lips are more intelligent, according to astrology website www.aryabhatt.com. But if your lips are wide you will be unlucky. And ladies watch out: if he has a big protruding lower lip, he may be unfaithful.
Boobs It's a case of the bigger, the better. A study of 1,200 women in Chicago found big boobs equalled big brains. "Busty women averaged 10 IQ points more than less well-endowed ladies," said Dr Rossdale, herself a 32A.
Stomach It's good news if you're a vegetarian. By sticking to a veggie diet your IQ will be around five points higher than those who regularly eat meat, according to research from the University of Southampton.
Height Tall people are brighter and earn more money on average than their shorter counterparts, according to researchers at Princeton University, New Jersey. As early as three, tall children performed better in tests. Stanford University found a link between being taller and IQ in a study of 14,000 children.

Japan's Plan For World's Tallest Building
nspired by Mount Fuji, Taisei Construction Corporation has completed designs for construction of the world's tallest building. The X-Seed 4000 (no idea where that came from) would stand at approximately 13,123 feet (4 km), nearly 700 feet (213 m) taller than the real Mount Fuji. The next tallest buildings don't even break 2,000 feet, how puny! While likely to never be built, the X-Seed would have up to 800 floors, and be capable of housing between 500,000 and 1,000,000 people.
Quote:
Unlike conventional skyscrapers, the X-Seed 4000 would be required to actively protect its occupants from considerable air pressure gradations and weather fluctuations along its massive elevation. Its design calls for the use of solar power to maintain internal environmental conditions. Some estimate that the cost to construct the X-Seed 4000 structure may be somewhere between $300-900 billion US dollars.
Now I'm no astronomer or anything, but if I learned anything in grade school, it's that 13,123 feet is pretty much the distance to the sun. Which means that the top floor would be perfect for a natural sauna. You heard it here first, if they end up doing that I want credit.
Surprising Uses For Aspirin
1) To remove perspiration stains from white T-shirts, dissolve two aspirins in half a cup of warm water and apply to the area of the fabric where the stain is. This should be left for a couple of hours before washing.
2) Has your hair ever gone yellow or green from chlorine in a swimming pool?
This can be remedied very quickly by dissolving 8 aspirin tablets in a glass of water and rubbing the resulting liquid into your hair. Leave for about ten minutes and then rinse it out. Shampoo in the usual way.
3) First aid for pimples: Crush an aspirin tablet and add a little water to make a paste. Cover the pimple with this paste and after a few minutes rinse it off. The pimple will be less red and reduced in size. Aspirin is an astringent.
4) Drop a soluble aspirin tablet into the water before arranging cut flowers in a vase. It helps to keep them fresh for longer.
5) To treat dandruff, crush two aspirin tablets and add them to your usual shampoo. Leave on the hair for a couple of minutes and rinse as normal.
6) Mosquito bites can be eased by wetting the skin and rubbing an aspirin over the spot.
7) Bee stings can be treated in the same way but any adverse reaction to the
sting should be reported to a doctor.
8) Gardeners can treat fungal soil infections by dissolving an aspirin tablet in a liter of water and using the mixture to treat the soil. Don't make this mixture too strong if using around plants as it may burn the leaves.
9) Aspirin can also be mixed with potting compost in the greenhouse, or garden, to prevent fungus forming around the roots of new plants.
10) Take some fresh lemon juice and mix it with a soluble aspirin to make a mixture that will remove grass stains, nicotine stains, etc from hands.
